All levels of Improv Classes

An improv class for those new to improvisation.

These classes provide actors with all of the fundamentals of improvised acting, focusing on how to build a successful scene with a partner or partners. Learn how to be successful in on-camera auditions and be further transformed into a great scene partner for increased success and collaboration in scripted work. Discover how to think and act “on your feet”, improve your listening and reacting skills, and become a more instinctual actor.

Ongoing Improv classes are held on Wednesday evenings form 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM.

Cost is $150.00 per month.

About The Instructor: Tim Stoltenberg

Tim Stoltenberg (AEA/SAG-AFTRA) is currently the Interim Artistic Director of Dad’s Garage Theatre in Atlanta, GA. Tim has worked with The Academy Theatre, The Center for Puppetry Arts, The Alliance, Laughing Matters, Agatha’s Dinner Theatre, Synchronicity Theatre, Jewish Theatre of the South. In Chicago, Tim toured with The Second City and other theatrical productions. (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and The Goodman Theatre) In Chicago Tim taught improv at Second City and performed with numerous improv groups at iO Theatre. In L.A. Tim taught and performed at Held2Gether and The Second City (Hollywood) where he hosted open mic nights, and co-created a commercial improv workshop with Lawless Casting. Tim has worked with numerous groups and theaters to help create original plays, improv classes and Corporate Training workshops. Tim has been seen in commercials for Southwest Airlines, Comcast, and Dollar Shave Club. Tim continues to travel performing improv, storytelling, and stand up.
